Transitional Fall Outfits
How to capture the look of fall when it still feels like summer
Fall; It is my favorite of the four seasons. The leaves start to change color, the air is a bit more crisp and cool and you can finally wear that jacket you have been eyeing. However, living in Los Angeles makes seasonal dressing a little more challenging because a heat wave can pop up at any time, in any season.
Here are my tips for creating fall outfits that won’t make you die of heat stroke in the weird ass fall weather in Los Angeles.
Keep it lightweight.
The key to looking like fall but feeling like summer is to keep everything you are wearing as lightweight as possible. The nude sweater and dark floral wide leg pants give the look of a fall inspired outfit but, are actually both very light weight.
Mixing crop tops with long layers like a ripped denim jacket and a maxi skirt can be an outfit that works in colder temperatures and the heat.
Just add boots.
Adding a pair of boots to your look is probably the easiest way to give your outfit fall vibes. I paired these knee high boots with a sheer maxi dress, layered it with a lightweight camel jacket and voila! Fall ready and totally prepared for cool mornings and sun drenched days.
